OLM Media's articles are created from campaign experience, client questions, industry research, platform documentation, and analysis of the junk removal market. Statistics based on OLM-managed campaigns are labeled as internal data. External statistics are linked to their original sources. Articles are reviewed and updated when platform rules, market conditions, or available evidence change.
Who writes our content
Articles and guides on olm.media are written by Ethan Smith, founder of OLM Media, with support from the OLM team. Content is drawn from hands-on campaign management for junk removal companies, client questions we answer every week, platform documentation, and research into the junk removal market.
Who reviews it
Every article is reviewed by a person before publication. Ethan Smith reviews content for accuracy against current platform rules, campaign experience, and market conditions. Nothing is published without human review.
How we use internal campaign data
When a statistic comes from campaigns OLM Media manages, we label it as internal data and describe how it was measured — including what counts as a lead, the time period, and whether revenue was booked, collected, or client-reported. We do not present a single client's result as an industry-wide average.
How external sources are selected
External statistics link to their original sources. We prioritize official Google and Meta documentation, government resources, official software documentation, original research, and first-party pricing pages. We avoid using low-quality blogs as the source of an important claim.
Corrections
If we discover an error — or a reader points one out — we correct the article and update its displayed update date. Material corrections are noted in the article. To report an error, email admin@olm.media.
How often content is reviewed
Time-sensitive articles (pricing, platform features, rankings, benchmarks) are reviewed when platform rules, market conditions, or available evidence change, and at least annually. The displayed update date reflects a real editorial review — we never change dates just to make an article look new.
Sponsorships and partnerships
If content is ever sponsored, or a partnership influences a recommendation, it will be clearly disclosed on the page. As of the last update to this policy, OLM Media does not publish sponsored content.
How AI tools are used
AI tools may assist with drafting, research organization, and editing. All substance — strategy, claims, numbers, and recommendations — comes from OLM's campaign experience and cited sources, and final content is always reviewed by a person before publication.
